Hans Cosmas Ngoteya is a passionate wildlife and conservation storyteller from Tanzania, dedicated to making a difference through his work. As a co-founder of Ngoteya Wild, he has directed award-winning documentaries that highlight the beauty and importance of nature. He also co-founded the Tanzania Wildlife Media Association (TaWiMA) to mentor aspiring wildlife storytellers and the Landscape and Conservation Mentors Organization (LCMO) to enhance community livelihoods through sustainable practices. In recognition of his impactful contributions, Hans received the Jackson Wild Rising Star Award in 2023, underscoring his commitment to developing practical conservation solutions and fostering coexistence between communities and wildlife.​

Hans has served as a jury member for several prestigious festivals, including Jackson Wild and Wildscreen. Additionally, he contributed his expertise as a jury member for the Natural History Museum's Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2025. His involvement in these esteemed events highlights his dedication to celebrating and promoting wildlife.
